A Family Legacy, A Neighborhood Tradition

A Family Tradition, A Neighborhood Favorite

A Family Tradition, A Neighborhood Favorite
When we took over Priceless Market in East Sacramento back in 2004, we knew we were stepping into something special. This little corner store had been a part of the community for decades. It started as a meat market, then became a grocery and deli, always keeping that small-town feel. We wanted to honor that history while adding something of our own. That’s when Roxie Deli & Grocery was born in 2005.

A Name with Deep Roots

A Name with Deep Roots
Roxie Deli isn’t just a name—it’s a family legacy. My parents, six brothers, and three sisters opened the original Roxie Deli in San Francisco in the mid-70s. For over 40 years, they’ve built a reputation for great food and strong community ties. I started working there when I was just six, standing on a milk crate so I could reach the counter. Now, my own kids do the same here in Sacramento, carrying on the tradition.

More Than a Deli, It’s a Community

More Than a Deli, It’s a Community
From the start, we wanted Roxie Deli to feel like home. Our regulars don’t just stop by for a sandwich—they come in to catch up, share stories, and enjoy the comfort of a familiar place. I know many of our customers by name and even start making their orders before they walk through the door. That’s what makes Roxie special—it’s not just a deli, it’s a gathering place.
